I found Vitality through Google reviews, so thought I'd add to their awesome track record! I've been working with Janine on a shoulder injury, and she's been absolutely brilliant! It's easy to book sessions over email, Janine is an absolute expert in her field, and is so friendly, professional and approachable. Best of all, my injury which had been bothering me for a while until I went to Janine, has cleared up - she's a genius!Beccy Shoulder patient
I came to Tamara for help with a ruptured achilles tendon. She was fantastic and I can't recommend her highly enough! She gave me exercises to do at home and on holiday in a swimming pool via an app. Our sessions were really useful. She helped me take things slowly when I was impatient and helped me stay on track when I got a bit bored with being injured. My consultant was amazed at my recovery. Thanks Tamara! You're a star!Catherine Achilles patient
I've had a great experience at Vitality Physiotherapy. Janine diagnosed me with runners knee straight away and over 4 sessions has me back to my average best. Highly recommended.Paul Knee patient
Having been impressed with Janine when I hurt my back over a year ago, when I again hurt it just four weeks before a skiing holiday there was only one person I turned to. Janine was brilliant at reassuring me I would be fine for my ski holiday and then setting about coming up with a range of exercises and treatment to ensure I could enjoy my holiday fully. Thank you Janine for your help!John, Epsom Back patient
Sam is the best physio that I have ever had. Quite quickly, one figures out that Sam has a natural instinct about how things work. He is so focused on figuring out the problem, and then following a chain of events around the body, that it becomes almost trance-like. The guy has a gift, and I am happy to be a part of it.Jean Patient
Tamara was brilliant. Through a course of treatment and also setting me exercises to do at home she fixed a painful shoulder injury. Excellent practice - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.Abbi Shoulder patient
Janine helped me and our team of 9 riders on our recent 300 mile cycling trip from London to Paris. When an old running injury (ITB) flared up on the 3rd day of the event, she treated this this for me, reducing the pain and discomfort. For the final day she used Kinesio tape to support the knee which allowed me to complete this challenge. If it wasn’t for Janine’s talents, our team of riders would have struggled, possibly not even completed the event. Thank you!Philip, Feltham ITB patient
I went to see my consultant after my knee replacement, 13 weeks prior, and despite the efforts of my grandsons, he was delighted with my progress. He was really impressed with the straightness of the leg and the amount of movement and bend in the knee. Well done to my physio, Janine for your invaluable treatment, which has contributed so greatly to my recovery! A huge thank you for a speedy resolution! My wife and I are back from Wengen where we had a great 4 days. I took your advice and bought a swish pair of hiking sticks which were put to very good use on 2 arduous mountain walks. The knee came through with flying colours so I have no doubt it will be up for the red deer stalking in the Scottish Highlands in September. Thanks for all your hard work, help and encouragement.Hedley, Clapham ITB patient
For a few years I suffered infrequent mild back pain when exercising and never really thought much of it. Around the time I qualified as a fitness instructor my pain became far more intense and frequent. Naturally, this was worrying as I needed to be healthy to teach clients. And although I was open minded to the idea of physio, I never imagined that the results of 8 weeks treatment from Janine would transform me so much. Janine took time to explain my injury and how a number of factors could have contributed to the pain I was experiencing. Every week, I felt like I was progressing. It has been a few months since I finished my treatment and I feel completely pain free. It’s like the injury I had never existed and my back feels stronger and healthier than ever before. Janine was recommended to me by a friend and I have since recommended a friend of mine. I wouldn’t hesitate to sing her praises to anyone who is considering physiotherapy.Lucy, Finchley Back pain patient
I have visited Vitality for a couple of years now. I’ve had various shoulder, ankle, groin and back injuries and every time I have been nursed back to health very quickly when it seemed like it would be months before I saw improvement. The friendliest and most knowledgable of physios. If you have an injury, then don’t hold back like I did for a while, get it sorted out at Vitality!Abe, Sevenoaks Multiple injury patient
When I dislocated my kneecap then popped it back, I went to the GP explaining the injury and the pain. The GP finally referred me to NHS physio after I presented her with a privately obtained MRI showing a partially pinched in fatpad under the kneecap, which was really painful. Numerous physio treatments by the NHS did not seem to change a thing. That is when I found Vitality Physio, and Janine, with her amazing knowledge of injured knees. After 5 treatments, and the strengthening exercises she gave for ‘homework’ the knee pain was gone. I can fully recommend her, as she is very knowledgeable, motivational, the clinic is very calm, clean, and relaxing, and overall she healed my knee in 5 treatments. Thank you.Krisztina, Tooting Knee patient
Janine quickly diagnosed the cause of my ankle problem and the treatment and exercises she recommended worked effectively to reduce the pain I was experiencing and allow me to return to sporting activities within a few weeks. Janine keeps up to date with the latest thinking in physiotherapy and has a wide range of skills to drawn upon. I would not hesitate to visit her again and have recommended her to friends.Jen, Streatham
Christmas 2012 took a turn for the worse when my back went into the most painful spasm imaginable on Boxing Day. Fast forward 10 days to my first session with Janine at Vitality Physiotherapy: within 10 minutes she’d identified the problem and, more importantly, told me she would definitely be able to fix it. -Which was all I needed to hear-. Twelve subsequent sessions more than did the trick. Fast forward 4 months, I’m doing the exercises Janine showed me to stop the dreaded spasm returning, and my disk is back to normal. I’d heartily recommend Vitality to anyone, not just because Janine clearly knows her way round the musculoskeletal system, but also because she inspires complete confidence and trust.Richard, Waterloo Back pain patient
I am a dancer and I thought that I strained a muscle in my shoulder and noticed that it had become weaker in strength. Janine diagnosed an impingement in my right shoulder and with a combination of her treatment and physical exercises, my shoulder has become stronger and my aches have gone. I’ve even built up my muscles! Thanks so much for your help!Jayeola, Pimlico Shoulder patient
I’m so glad I found Janine! After years of on-going back pain, and having tried various different methods of treatment (massage, osteo, chiro) with no lasting effect, I decided to try Physio. After sending a quick email, Janine responded immediately (while on holiday!) with a lengthy email detailing her experience, possible causes for my pain, and how she may be able to help. After only a couple of sessions the improvement has been amazing. With Janine’s advice, recommendations and exercises I’m now able to work towards a long term solution to prevent this pain. I highly recommend Janine and Vitality Physio.Jeni, Waterloo
I developed a dysfunctional and painful knee and was originally diagnosed with medial collateral ligament damage by a private hospital in London. The pain got worse, however – I even at one stage had to use a walking stick, so I went to see Janine at Vitality around ten days later. Janine was superb and immediately identified the original misdiagnosis, correctly diagnosing patellofemoral Syndrome and prescribing various therapeutic exercises for me. Janine monitored me carefully each week for six weeks and adapted the exercise programme to accelerate healing so that I was back playing football come early February. PFS recovery can take much longer to recover from than I managed and I have no doubt that I benefited greatly from Janine’s strong technical skills. I should also mention that Janine is very personable and easy to talk to.Guy, Walton-on-Thames Knee patient
Huge fan of the Vitality Physiotherapy and Janine. I came in with bulging disks in my back and was really in the dumps. The prospects for me returning to my active lifestyle looked bleak…or so it seemed to me. With the help of Janine, I’m healing quickly and learning more about the nature of my injury and why it occurred in the first place. Not only do I think I will get back on track, I think I may be stronger and more balanced then when I came in. The atmosphere is friendly and the treatment is top class!Jack, Waterloo Back pain patient
I twisted my ankle whilst changing direction, playing 5-a-side football. I had been treated by Janine before following a shoulder injury and was extremely pleased with the results. After a thorough consultation and 6 follow up sessions, my ankle was completely painfree. As a bit of a fitness fanatic, I felt quite dejected at the thought of complete rest after this injury. However, Janine contacted by Personal trainer and had a detailed discussion about how we could modify my exercise programme. So, despite my injury, I was able to still maintain my fitness.I found the emails that she sent me containing my exercise programme very useful. I can highly recommend Vitality Physio to anyone with an injury, who is keen to maintain their fitness, and have a speedy recovery!AM Ankle patient
After getting severe work related back pains I decided it was time to seek medical advice. Vitality Physiotherapy is very conveniently located and is approximately a 5 min walk from Waterloo station. The rooms have a modern appearance and after filling out a registration form I was ready to be seen by the physiotherapist. After a thorough examination she started with treatment. I found her very knowledgable, enthusiastic and caring and I am pleased to say that after 2 weeks I was completely pain free. I would highly recommend Vitality Physiotherapy.DeWet, Wimbledon Back pain patient
After a heavy fall in a high speed cycling accident I visited both a GP and a local hospital; both diagnosed me with damaged ribs and advised against the need for an x-ray. I subsequently visited Vitality Physio. Here Janine informed me of a likely fracture to my shoulder and contacted my GP, advising them of the need for me to have a radiology referral. This confirmed Janine’s analysis. My recovery was slowed by the original misdiagnosis; but I was fortunate that Vitality Physio gave me a correct prognosis in time to avoid the need for an operation as the fact I had been trying to use the shoulder had adversely affected my recovery. I would highly recommend Vitality Physio to anybody looking for physiotherapist.Ben, Streatham Shoulder patient
Janine is a great physio, very professional and knowledgeable. I saw her regularly for a number of weeks, and she really went the extra mile to make sure I could continue to fulfil my sporting commitment whilst in recovery. Highly recommended.Pete, Waterloo
My back has been causing me problems for a number of years now and about 2 months ago I had severe back pain and went to Vitality Physiotherapy for treatment. The problem was identified as a Grade II L5 disc bulge and treatment started immediately. My physio was really great at explaining the problem and offering ways/exercises to speed up the recovery and prevent future injury. My back now feels better than it did in years. I would highly recommend anyone to visit Vitality.Stephan, Wimbledon Back pain patient
I developed a very sudden and very painful neck spasm, to the extent that I could not put my head straight/in normal position. My physio at Vitality was incredibly professional and the treatment she gave was spot on. It took me about 4 days to recover, I could not go to work in this time. I saw the physio twice during this period, she talked me through the injury and the recovery and I could feel a big difference after every treatment. The stretches that she recommended helped a lot and I would recommend Vitality to anybody who needs to get better soon.Liezel, Banstead Neck patient
I’ve been having Achilles and then knee (cartilage) physio at Vitality. Excellent knowledge and magic hands – my chronic knee condition from lots of ops is now in remission. Highly recommended!Christian, Godalming Multiple injury patient
I had an acromioclavicular joint subluxation injury in my shoulder. I chose to wait 5 months before seeing a physio, and the injury didn’t improve at all. My physio at Vitality was helpful from the first session and just a few weeks on, my shoulder is almost completely recovered. She was incredibly diligent and informative, offering several solutions and talking me through my injury as well as the recovery. The clinic is very clean, relaxing, and the staff are extremely friendly. I can’t recommend Vitality enough. Thank you.Armen, Waterloo Shoulder patient
After partially tearing one of my Achilles tendon, I was in pain and I could hardly walk. I went to Vitality Physiotherapy where my physio offered me a clear diagnosis and a plan with helpful exercises. This helped me walk again less painfully and faster in a few weeks. She also advised me on the types of extra activities that would support my recovery and on how to prevent it from happening again. I was extremely happy with the level of care and efficiency of my physio and I would warmly recommend Vitality Physiotherapy to anyone who needs physiotherapy!Virginie, Brixton Foot patient
